To the Higher power out there ...

I’m at about 34,000 feet, experiencing an absolutely stunning spectacle in the sunset. To my left I see an endless plateau of clouds masked in gold by the setting sun. On my right, the clouds are higher, sheared by the wind into distinct layers, each enveloped in a different ethereal color. I see pinks and oranges and yellows and even a hint of a green. It’s unearthly. Strange and captivating. The clouds possess a glow as if pregnant with sulfur. It’s a picture of another world, far away and unrelated to this planet. It’s a peaceful setting, as peaceful as I’ve seen in all my days and it leaves me breathless. Too soon the magic fades, the sun gathers in its blanket of light and becomes an ever dimming coin of gold. The clouds reluctantly give up the last hints of warmth and I find myself enveloped in violet. The magic is gone, replaced by a sense of cold that brings me back to the present. I’m left with a profound feeling of gratitude towards the higher being that created these wonde...

'N He Said ...

"May I remind you dear lady .... For every man out there selling something .. There are who have nothing left to sell... Yes it's enchanting just to be here, watching you move and cast your spell... I still don't believe in miracles... and yes it doesnt mean they dont come true ... Curious isn't it though to notice, that these miracles somehow repeatedly... help only a select few ... No i don't think you crazy ... even if most of the world would disagree.. Maybe its your spell, or my desire to be among those ... you do like to see ..."

"There's nothing in this world that someone somewhere doesn't sell ... if you don't believe in magic ....watch me move, and cast my spell. They say if you don't believe in miracles, it doesn't mean they dont come true .... if things are meant to happen, they will transpire, no matter what you think or do. And you might think me crazy ... and most of the world would agree, n thats the beauty of it ... cuz it leaves only the few that i ever want to see.... "

Life covers a lot of ground ....

There are moments to face the truth, and there are moments to escape its reach, there are moments to explore and ponder, and those when ignorance is the need. There are moments when guilt becomes desirable, and moments when pain brings an exquisite relief, There are moments when loneliness transcends all reality, and those when affection starts to reek. There are moments to go out and touch the horizon, and those when it's best to hide and weep. There are moments when sunshine is pure and delightful, And then there are those, when thundering grey skies,  bring their own sense of peace. There are moments when silence fails to bring any solace, and those when tranquility is found,  in the midsts of raging shrieks. There are moments when bitterness seems more appropriate, and those when all remorse is lost, there are moments when experience is a bad teacher, and  when compassion leaves you distraught. There are moments of complete despair, that som...

A prayer for the Dead

For all those who have died, in flesh and in thought, here's a rememberance to you one and all, May it be peace you've found and may you forgive the forgetful alives, who're too busy to be rankled by the past .. On behalf of all those wanton wanderers too busy to look aft, I take this moment to deliver a prayer long overdue and past. Take solace old warriors for the dwelling you find yourselves in is a place there is an escape not. And soon with open arms it'll welcome those like me who chose to remember and those who simply forgot. Hold no grudge my dear departed friends, for you know only too well, in this place and in this world, a moment spent in thought of another, is too valuable to expend. So here i stand in folly praying for my kind, on behalf of all those too busy and all those who simply forgot.

Just Wondering ...

i've had a little bit of very very precious time on my hands in the last few minutes and i was just browsing a few blogs when it struck me that a lot of them were by people ranting about stuff ( i mean it in a good way) ... people taking up positions and opinions. Looking at life through much more realistic and questioning eyes than whats on display on the street. Just wondered if its a case of a heightened sense of being when it comes to blogging. Does a personality change occur in normal everyday people when they blog. People who in ther everyday lives dont complain, who lead quiet, fuss free lives and do not concern themselves with problems beyond their immediate desires. Do they turn into passionate, concerned individuals who cast a questioning eye on society and pose often-profound and deep questions into the everyday happening in this world? I guess my question is this : ( and the answer depends pretty much on your view of humanity i guess) "Are there concerned citizen...
